Come see my art at Evergreen Cafe in Berkeley!
Hey friends! I have super exciting news to share: I have my first solo art show at a delightful cafe in Berkeley—Evergreen on San Pablo!
Please stop by in the coming weeks! ✨ The food and the vibes are immaculate! And I’m incredibly happy with how I curated my pieces. (All displayed art is for sale; a price list is forthcoming.)

It can be hard for me to say that I’m proud of myself because I have fears about “bragging,” but I am really proud of myself and the work I’ve created that’s on display. Many hours of experimentation, color-mixing, trial and error, and painting over “bad art” (not to mention the physical labor of installing the frames/wires and hanging the art) helped me create artwork I feel is beautiful and meaningful. I hope you find beauty and meaning in my work, too!

I painted the pieces on display at some point during the last four or so years. Even though they aren’t all the same subject matter or style, I feel that there is a through-line, and that’s COLOR. I want my work to reflect a colorful world—one that isn’t limited by reality.
“Daydream.” This painting is inspired by the view from the passenger seat on a road trip with my mom through northern California to Oregon.

The pastries, savory food, and coffee at Evergreen are so tasty and made with high quality ingredients! I could not recommend the “Persian Breakfast” (photo below) more! And I love the community-oriented vibe of this cafe—they hold lots of “pop-up” types of events and love to support local artists, musicians, and other small businesses!
